How the Red Cross Spends $106 Million in Haiti (via Truth For News)

Amazing Video. I have to admit I never donated money. When seeing stories like this it makes it even harder to want to donate to anyone when results don’t exist after giving for relief funds. I’m not saying I will because we know that there are some nonprofits out there that do use donations for the greater good. For now I will lend a helping hand in places I can afford to go and physically help.
It’s sad. Please check out the rest of this article and watch the Video. I believe thats Wyclefs voice and he’s recording the video not sure, but a good example of who is doing what.

First of all, I apologize I have not been updating as much as I would like. There are too many things going on in the world that makes time to sit down and write a blog almost impossible. So for now I am going to let videos speak. Before I do that, I want to say; while my heart, sympathy and condolences go out to everyone in Japan and effected regions, we must not forget the people who are dying mercilessly in Libya and other areas of the world. … Read More

Picture Perfect

I love M so much for realizing the importance I place on pictures, or rather what I like to call the documentation of life. To me pictures tell a story of the past and help to remind me of what is most important in my life: My Family!

I strive to document all of the wonderful memories I wish to cherish and when I look back over my life I want to smile BIG as I remember every precious moment.

As we enter into this new and exciting chapter in our lives my only prayer is that M and I will ALWAYS remember what bought us together and this feeling we have for each other. When ALL else fails we will have our LOVE and hopefully some great photos!

Always and Foever…….

P.S.

I have been soooo delinqent in blogging and recently I asked a friend of mine how she does it with kids, a job and numerous other responsibilities and she let me in on a little secret. Find a few quiet moments to yourself and do like 5 blogs at once and post date.  So I will work on posting more blogs in the future. There has been so much going on with wedding planning and stuff so I’ll try to update soon!

The Wonderful Reminders in Life

Yes this can be two different Blogs, but they are one in the same to me. Why? When I see these pics I’m reminded of the changes I made in my life before I met her. I also am reminded that those few steps can make all the difference when in a relationship. The pictures are a reflection of those few steps I incorporated into my life to make that woman in my life as happy as she is in those pics.

Nicole’s Bridal shower pics on  Jolin’s Blog. They came out really nice. Here’s a link.

When you are about to marry or start a relationship with someone who you think you can love or are in love with you have a few rules to follow.

1. Listen

2. Listen

3. Talk to each other

Yes. Do it all the time. Constant dialog is very healthy and intuitive. When this is lacking issues can come up later.

4. Share thoughts and Feelings

That means for men and women don’t act like you are the hardest person in this conversation, and you’re to tough to talk about stuff with the person you love.

5. Do not and I mean DO NOT hide secretes from one another

Secretes can bite you in the future. They will come up. If not by you by someone else that has a big mouth. Next thing you know you having issues with trust. Once the trust is gone it is very hard to get it back.

6. Don’t be afraid to step out of the box.

If one person likes to do something you should give it a try. You will be respected more from that other person for trying, and maybe you might find something new you two can enjoy together.  If you don’t like it at least the other person knows that you are willing to work together and is interested in doing stuff outside your norm.

7. Listen

I’m sure “positive” there’s more. Those are a few that are good to follow to start a successful relationship.

When I see this pictures of my soon to be wife it makes me feel as if I have accomplished something big. That is making the QUEEN happy. If the QUEEN is not happy then the house is not happy. Don’t forget they have to be able to do the same for you, but you have to give them that chance to do. Do not over run them to a point were they feel they can’t live up to your standards. Everyone is not perfect, but at least you can say you tried, and did it respectfully if you fail. Don’t give up on Love.

Thank you Jolin for the wonderful reminders.

How to be a better boss – at Google and elsewhere (via Smart People I Know)

A few does and do nots as a manager and as a employee that everyone should try to incorporate into their everyday work habits. I really like how Google treats their employers. I too work at a great job that doesn’t have as large a facility as Google, but the relationship between co-workers and Bosses are really good.

Thanks to the Blog Smart People I Know for finding this.

How to be a better boss - at Google and elsewhere Google came up with this:Like alot of IT shops, I believe, they thought being a good manager meant being more technical than the staff you manage. It turns out that isn't it. The list above is more important. To see how Google came to it, see: Google’s 8-Point Plan to Help Managers Improve – NYTimes.com (which is where the list above came from). … Read More

Japan’s Publishing Community Donates to Earthquake Relief – Wii News at IGN

Japan’s Publishing Community Donates to Earthquake Relief – Wii News at IGN.

All of our prayers go out for the people in

Japan. With the nuclear power plant explosion, radiation leaks and maybe more issues that may follow we pray for them. As a part time gamer I respect that these companies are donating to the Red Cross to help them in their efforts to saving lives. Lets hope that The Red Cross actually uses the money. I’ve heard they’ve collected money for other disasters “Haiti” and those areas are still waiting for it.

If you like to know what companies please feel free to click the link above or the IGN symbol not Mario LOL to find out what companies are taking part in helping Japan.
