An Intimate evening with Joe Sample

N and I first jazz concert together.

The music was wonderful.  It was hot. They did not have water for people and we did not bring any.

Sample was funny and very entertaining. The acts before him were also good. Two gentlmen who played bass were very good.

I had a great time at the Joe Sample concert. It was especially nice to dress up for a night on the town with my sweetie and go listen to some smooth jazz. I agree with M the music was wonderful. I have been listening to Joe Sample for awhile now and he is an awsome pianist. His style is so laid back and smooth. I could have sat there and listened forever. Even Joe said as long as his butt was comfortable on his piano bench he could play forever LOL! We had a really good view of the stage and it was in fact an intimate atmosphere. The room was dimly lit and there wasn’t a huge audience. I had a great time with M. He was so sweet that evening to have cooked me a romantic picnic dinner. The concert was a excellent ending to a great evening. I hope to figur out how to add video to this site soon. I have a clip of Joe playing a set.
